Uma Nota first opened its doors in Hong Kong, where the concept resonated deeply, followed by Paris, captivating the palate of another international audience. In 2022, we brought Uma Nota to the vibrant Filipino and Manila market, sharing our signature blend of warmth, diversity, and pulsating energy with a city that knows how to savor every moment.
Since then, Uma Nota Manila has grown into a fine dining destination by day and evening, transforming into one of the city's most electric nightlife spots . We've been proud to be Michelin Selected and recognized with the Excellence in Cocktails award, a reflection of the passion our team brings to every plate and every pour.
OUR STORY
Uma Nota draws its essence from a captivating historical journey – the migration of the Japanese to Brazil in the early 20th century. Seeking opportunities, thousands of Japanese immigrants set sail for the fertile lands of São Paulo, finding a home in the vibrant neighborhood of Liberdade. Facing the challenges of adapting to a new culture and climate, Liberdade became a cultural hub where the Japanese community interwove with the vibrant tapestry of Brazilian society.
Inspired by this rich history, Uma Nota's founders, brother & sister duo Alex & Laura Offe, envisioned a space that pays homage to the dynamic interplay between Brazilian and Japanese influences.
In each Uma Nota location, meticulously crafted spaces tell the story of this harmonious blend, inspired by the founder's vision. The migration of the Japanese to Brazil serves as the historical backdrop, and Uma Nota emerges as a modern expression of the cultural harmony born from this rich exchange. The restaurant, through its design, ambiance, and menu, is a living celebration of the enduring legacy of this migration and the diverse flavors it brought to São Paulo and beyond.

We take bookings for lunch, dinner and nightlife throughout the week.
RULES & POLICY
FOR LUNCH:

LUNCH SET MENU is available from Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM (except public holidays).

On Saturday and Sunday, we offer a Chef’s Menu and an À La Carte Menu only.
FOR DINNER:
We kindly require a deposit of Php1,000 per person to secure your booking.

For 12-15 guests, a minimum spend of Php50,000 is required for dinner.

FOR NIGHTLIFE:

Wednesday to Saturday – Our DJ starts at 10:00 PM.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
The deposit fee is non-refundable.

1-11 guests: Deposit is non-refundable, but can be reused for a new booking within 1 month.

12-15 guests:
Cancel more than 48 hours before: 50% refund of deposit.
Cancel within 48 hours: Deposit is forfeited.

PAYMENT METHODS:
We accept payments in CASH, G-CASH, AMEX, VISA, DEBIT CARD, MASTERCARD, and ONLINE PAYMENT LINK (for International and Local Transfers)
RESTAURANT POLICY AND DRESS CODE:
- Children and teenagers under 18 years old may stay with us until 10:30PM.
- Guests are encouraged to arrive stylish, smart attire. Sportswear, beachwear, flip-flops, and overly casual items may not be permitted.
- While we love animals, building regulations do not permit pets at Uma Nota Manila.
Management reserves the right to apply discretion in enforcing the dress code.
