Since the Tropicalia movement was heavily influenced and expressed through music, it’s only fair to dedicate a corner for the music enthusiasts to appreciate original vinyls on display. Music is an integral part of Uma Nota’s culture and it is catered to with the central DJ station and top notch speaker system to enjoy those deep bass beats.

What defines the 70s better than curvacious lines and gradient tones. The infamous paving at the Copacabana beach inspires the curved wall paneling and tonal carpeted flooring. Lush greenery and layered lighting, are complemented with the pink hues of the room.

THE LIVING ROOM & BAR

The Living Room serves as the captivating introduction to Uma Nota, designed to leave a lasting impression on guests as they ascend the staircase. A focal point is the awe-inspiring 'Hanging Tree,' a reclaimed tree adorned with intricate silk leaves, suspended at the heart of the double-height space. This sculptural approach moves away from the expected vibrant colors and tropical patterns, capturing Brazil's raw and uninhibited nature. Dramatically uplit, the tree's canopy spans 5m in diameter, casting beautiful silhouettes against the curved ceiling. Three sculptural arches add drama, while a raised VIP section with a central DJ caters to a more festive atmosphere later in the evening. As night falls, the space transforms into a moody, seductive ambiance with carefully articulated lighting elements.

The Bar, adjacent to the living room, offers an intimate space. Contrasting industrial materials like polished copper and mirrored ceilings harmonize with soft finishes, including pink-hued velvets and leathers. This functional and visually appealing bar creates discreet nooks for non-pretentious yet upscale social gatherings, featuring integrated icewells within height-adjustable tables. Tropical prints serve as a vibrant backdrop, celebrating Brazil's indigenous and multi-cultural facets. Together, these spaces within Uma Nota seamlessly transition from an elegant dining setting to a lively, atmospheric venue as the evening unfolds.
